I mean mewtwo Y makes sense because I'd guess its mew's stone and mewtwo just uses it, but making mewtwo more powerful specifically is bullshit. It should have been mewinite and worked on both mew and mewtwo

The joke is that Porygon can't be found in the wild, but the rich guy didn't realize it when he lied about seeing one. Instead of being caught in a lie, he sent his butler to go get a whole bunch of Porygon and release them into the garden.

Although what they're doing on the mirage islands is anyone's guess. Probably someone's breeding leftovers.

Like if mewtwoinite was mewinite. Like mewtwo is a clone of mew, so it'd make sense that it could use it too. Which is why Mewtwo Y becomes more mewlike.

Its just asinine that mewtwo specifically gets a mega stone when it has only existed for like 30 or so years, and mega stones were made 3000 years ago when AZ nuked the earth.

The Kanto Mewtwo is in reality the second. The one in Kalos is the original and was made back during the ancient war, which is how mega stones were able to sync with it. Maybe the reason AZ decided to go for a doomsday weapon which relies on sheer firepower was to try to kill that fucker in particular.

There are other artificial evolutions. Just headcanon, but I think things like protector, magmarisor, electivisor, and metal coat could be artificial ways to evolve pokemon, so it stands to reason that artificial mega stones could be a thing.

Nah I don't like that. Not to mention it doesn't fit with Episode Delta. Although I do think the X stones are the "artificial" version. Maybe he just created the X ones?

Sounds like a bit of a strectch to me, but honestly artificial mega stones wouldn't surprise me at all.

I don't like the idea, though. I feel it's the kind of bullshit that will give us a Mega Pikachu eventually.

It's really not that weird that it was found in the Trophy Garden. The butler imported all the exotic pokémon the owner was lying about. For all we know he could have gone and spent a shit ton of money on Porygon just to introduce them into the garden.

It's simple: Groups of porygon escaped/were released into the wild and adapted to the new habitat and repopulated (I guess porygon breed by copy and pasting themselves). This is how lots of animals end up in foreign places in real life, creatures of that species that were brought over from other countries for trade/companionship enter the wild and proceed to adapt and compete succesfully.

Because the pokedex doesn't name pokemon. You/researchers name pokemon and enter that name into the pokedex.
