Realised all these guys fit really well into certain types except maybe Sting Chameleon.

Tried to make existing moves fit their movesets as best I could, fuck inventing new shit that's cheating. Aerilate for SE so his Egg Bomb that releases little birdies can be flying type.

Only huge flaw is that AA is immune to electricity, which is supposed to be his weakness.

Most of these are pretty good.

You might want to make Armored Armadillo a Rock/Steel combo, that way electric attacks still at least work even if they're not a weakness.

Looking back on the moves of the mavericks makes you realise how underdeveloped MMX3 was compared to the previous games. There were some abilities that had to be cut from other two but for MMX3 every boss needed filler as they had like 3 attacks max.

Or make it like psyshock, special attack that uses opponents defense to calculate damage. Since it'll end up exactly the same in the end and isn't redundant and confusing as fuck.
Also instead of psychic/electric with adaptablility, because how would that even work, why not just make it an electric move that get's a 50% damage bonus (equal to stab) for psychic types?

All Not Very effective moves now do normal damage. Lasts 5 turns, works sort of like Trick Room.

Monado Shield
Reflect type move that halves damage to your team from supereffective attacks.

Raises speed by two levels and evasion by one. You can use it on teammates.

Well Sonic himself would easily have like terrible defenses, but he takes down mechs and shit all the time, it's not hard to imagine he'd have 100-120 base offenses if things like Infernape can. He has to have some reason he's taking down huge mechs in three fucking hits every other stage. For the sake of things, his powers are kind of mystical based half the time since they make him glow light blue, turn gold and fly, and everything from Sonic Colors.

Sturdy is an incredibly fitting ability actually to signify the ring system though, I don't know why everyone gives him speed boost and shit.

At least in the original series, the robots ease of defeat was usually due to Eggman's ineptitude more so than Sonic hitting them that hard. The 3D game kind of muddle this up a bit since they can never give Eggman a consistent character.

I do agree that Sturdy is both fitting and in interesting niche ability for a speedy sweeper to have. Still, with the ability to run offensives items instead of Focus Sash, it makes balancing his offensive stats even more important.

I agree that his Atk should be 80, 90 tops. Boost his SpA a bit if you must, but he shouldn't hit that hard /and/ that fast with Sturdy.
