My friend vehemently hates every and all legendaries. It doesn't matter which legendary it is; you run it, she calls you a tryhard and to 'git gud'

This, Pokemon games are easy enough as it is. No need to bring an Arceus to fight weak-ass trainers when there's already so many options to choose from. Don't get me wrong, I love catching legendaries, but it'd feel cheap to use them on my regular team. People who use legendaries (particularly if they use more than one) on their regular team always come across as show-offs, munchkins, and tourneyfags.

Well your friend is too extreme I suppose, I don't know how strong it is because I've never used Meloetta, but I still think it's not as good to use legendaries on your team even if they're "weak". Karen had a point.

I used Meloetta cause it was probably my favorite legendary hands down. It's decent, but if you use a set that relies on both forms, a ghost can easily fuck it up and if you switch forms at the wrong time, you can doom it to getting killed in one blow.

Is it still 5/6IVs? Doesn't really matter if you didn't inject it if you just powersaved/genned/cloned/RNG'd/whatever'd it instead. If not she's a bit too bent out of shape about it.

I still agree with her legendary hate though. Because everybody and their mother having the same legendary pokemon is immersion destroying but nothing to throw a fit over.

Meloetta is pretty strong and bulky on the special side but weak physically. OP's friend probably only ran weak special attackers or mostly Psychic weak pokes, which Meloetta could handle easily.

I understand after seeing everyone and their mother running Lando-T, Thundurus, Terrakion, and one of the Latis (usually a combo of these or all of them) how she can be annoyed, but one legendary shouldn't make someone flip the fuck out.

Meloetta is RU you retard The term legendary is meaningless and has no actual effect on the viability of a Pokemon. Pokemon should be judged on how good they are, not arbitrary naming conventions.

Who the fuck actually listens to what a god damn NPC says, if anon likes Meloetta they should use it. If they like using strong Pokemon then that works as well. Actually forming opinions on other people based on flavor text is goddamn retarded.
