Yeah, because having a meta that actually lets you use your Pokemon is somehow less legitimate?

3v3 or 4v4 are just artificial constraints imposed to try and fix a broken game by forcing hyperoffense and removing strategy. Pokemon has always been about 6v6, a format that doesn't let you use all your options is a bastardization of the original game, not the other way around.

I'm not saying Mega Salamence is weaker by not being uber, but the way you guys label him.

It is not a legendary. It's a normal pokemon with normal powers like Dragonite or Tyranitar.

It's not the one that can raise land or cause terrible storm like Groudon / Kyogre.

Yes, it is on par with a legendary, but it's not one. That's why stop calling it an uber because it's not.

this couldn't be more false, how much experience do you actually have playing them?

they aren't constraints by any stretch, it eliminates team matchup issues and allows way more more strategies to be useful (Trick Room, Tailwind, Perish Trap etc. are garbage in 6v6). "hyper offense" is definitely not forced either, in singles defensive Pokemon and teams are very common (Porygon2/Cress/Ferro al in the top 12 usage) and lots of the best VGC15 teams right now are quite passive.

Are you confusing the term 'uber' with 'legendary', by any chance?

"Uber" is not a term used by any official Pokémon meta. It is a banlist designed by Smogon.

Example: Articuno is a legendary Pokémon. It's very powerful lore-wise, but it's shit competitively, so it's not "uber".

Blaziken is an "uber" pokemon. It's not especially powerful lore-wise, but it's considered so good competitively by Smogon that it should not be used in regular (OU) play.

It's painstakingly obvious you don't know what you're talking about. Uber in that context is used as the smogon tier uber. Hardly anyone here uses uber synonymously with legendary pokemon.
