If Arceus is the creator god, does that mean Rayquayquay is Jesus?

Arceus is a creator god that almost no one worships anymore. Seriously, go look through all the lore in Sinnoh. The only people that know about it are archaelogists like Cynthia and that weird Hiker guy. Cynthia is the only person ingame to figure out a mural depicting Arceus creating shit was actually that and not a representation of Dialga or Palkia. Arceus is only known as the Original One in Sinnoh mythology, and even then it's about as worshipped as Amenominakushi in modern Shinto. Ho-oh, Lugia, and Rayquaza are all venerated in their respective regions, but aren't notable outside of them. Pokemon doesn't do the whole monotheistic stuff.

I've never seen Arceus as god. Arceus is the Origin Pokemon with a bunch of parallels to a creator deity. It is said to have created most of the Pokemon world. That's all we really know.

I think it's because Arceus is obscure and a myth to people. There s not much to support it actually existed so I think that why people don't speak about it too much. As opposed to the other revered Pokemon which have been seen by people and they know about it existing.
