I liked Red Rescue, and thought I'd try to get into it again, so I got gates of infinity.
It was all going well, and there were no quizes at the start, but you see I'd chosen Snivy, and Axew.. Little did I know, the final area was full of ice types. And that all of them knew ice beam and would two hit KO each of us before I could move close enough to get to them. It didn't even seem to matter how much I grinded or how many revives I carried.
I started it over with Tepig and Oshawott but I just don't feel motivated to play it again.

Going out on a limb and calling PMD Sky the best game in the entire Pokemon franchise

Perfect difficulty, can catch all mons, good soundtrack, really colourful etc

Gates to Infinity wasn't even announced in Japan until about 2 years after XY came out. Probably didn't sell as well as Time/Darkness, but the pokemon label itself will still print a fair amount of shekels. Would be very surprised if we don't get another PMD.

Never played a Mystery Dungeon before. But found Explorers of Darkness for $14 dollardoos today. And ended up getting it for $9. Pretty stoked.

What should I expect?

Also found SoulSilver which I quickly snapped up for $31. The qt game staff lady started a conversation with me about how lucky I was to find that. Today was a good day.
