There are a lot of defensive fire types actually. Defensive Volcarona sets with morning sun, defensive Charizard X with Roost and WoW, defensive Heatran with a bunch of gimmick nonsense like torment

Defensive Volcarona is garbage, rocks pressure it way too hard to do anything other than quiver sweeping.
Heatran's been THE defensive Fire type since its introduction in gen 4 (though to be fair it's steel type first and foremost).

Chansey has only one immunity and look where it is. Mono-Electric is even better than mono-Normal because it resist Flying. Electric definitely has a lot of potential for support roles.

I can't really think of any off the top of my head but I love the idea of a hyper offensive Grass type. M-Sceptile was a decent start but I want a really nasty motherfucker to come out of Gen 7. Something that would give Landorus-I competition.

But aren't there already a lot of Grass-types that are really good at offense? I've used Pokémon like Breloom, Chesnaught, Tangrowth, and Torterra, all of which were very good at attacking (especially Breloom – using an Adamant Breloom is like fucking cheating, his attack stat is so obscenely high).

Breloom kind off borrows a lot from its fighting type really.

Isn't Chesnaught more defensive, though? Torterra is too slow. I guess what I meant to say is a fast HO grass sweeper
