Try to give them different roles in the party. If you don't do this, Sentret will be outclassed by Rattata and Patrat by Bunnelby.

Use Watchog as status spammer and Furret as a Elemental Punches user. Linoone should have Belly Drum, Bibarel should have Special Attacks. If Bunnelby gets the HA, anything would be great. Raticate should the Guts + Orb thing. If you can't do this on the start, use Hustle so it will not be completely outclassed by the others.

Gen IV was the fucking worst and the only good Legendaries besides Regigigas and Giratina needed an event. Gen V had all kinds of good Pokemon and a perfect Legendary trio in Tao.

Not the same anon but seriously hop off the meme bandwagon and form your own opinion any time. Gen 3 has the worst designs with gen 4 being close behind. Gen 6 has a few bad designs, like Dedenne, but for the most part they're pretty good. Gen 5 has some shit designs, like the element monkeys, but for the most part the designs are great. It's just a meme to hate on gen 5 and to praise gens 3 and 4 like they're god's gifts to the world.

If anything gen V was a meme, since everyone jumped on board and praised it endlessly. That wave is over. It's only now that people start realizing gen V's designs were pretty bad and you're just butthurt people don't like it anymore.

Gen III was good. Gen V was great. Hoenn had shitty water routes and shitty Pokemon distribution, Unova had bad routes and a bit of shitty Pokemon.
