I liked Cyrus. He was introduced a little too late and didn't have that good buildup, though. But he was fine.

Cyrus was better written than Lysandre. In Y at least, his plan really didn't make any sense: reviving Yveltal, who has the power to kill everything, then using it to fuel a machine that has...the power to kill everything. Maybe X made more sense.

Xerneas is like the pokemon of like. It can revive/grant eternal life to whatever it wants.
