I use Escavalier in my Battle Spot triples team. He usually lasts a long time because of the only one weakness to fire. I have him hold an Occa berry and another mon uses water sport and he can even take a fire hit or two before fainting. Every other attack barely does anything. I think a lot of people don't know what to hit him with.

It just isn't that good, in gen 5 it could at least deal with rain teams but that niche eventually went with weather wars.
