>>22986760When's the last time the anime had a creative episode like one where the protagonists get on the not-titanic, nearly drown, and then end up stranded on an island with giant Pokemon, one where a giant tentacruel attacks a city in an homage to giant monster movies, one where a mysterious ghost pokemon keeps the legend of a woman who turned to stone alive, or one where a crazy psychic gym leader turns anyone who loses against her into dolls?
Autists would complain about how Ash would've been crushed by water pressure, how it made no sense the tentacruel grew gigantic for no reason, how Ghastly doesn't have Transform as a learnable move, and just everything about Sabrina in general.
The show's gotten better animation and better battles, but just about everything that made the show feel like it was an adventure series was drained of personality.
