That theme is overrated as all fuck. I saw people hyping it up and when I actually got to that battle it was disappointing. It's a fucking pre-battle theme with a 30 second loop but used for the actual battle. It sucks.

speaking of online battle options though, when are they gonna give the option to change the battle field look? fighting in that blue arena gets stale after a while

Probably because it would fuck the FPS during battles even harder.
