What features in XY/ORAS do you guys think will be removed in Gen VII?

I'm thinking horde battles, Dexnav for sure, pokemon with different surfing speeds as well, and a 50% chance that the experience share will go back the original concept.

No, they didn't. Time was still present in Gen III, but the specific time of day only affected Eevee's evolution. Time was COMPLETELY gone in FRLG, so you HAVE to trade in order to get an Espeon or Umbreon unless you just play the Gamecube titles :^)

Did you know that evolving Feebass the regular way still works outside of ORAS, Gen 3 and 4?
The contests stats were hidden but never removed so it was actually possible to evolve Feebas the normal way in games without Poffins or Pokeblocks providing you send it from games that have it.

Also when have they ever removed Eeveelution mechanics?
Umbreon and Espeon are still time based.
Leafeon and Glaceon still require the stupid rocks which is more tedious than amie.

Amie, super training, and E4 rematches are probably here to stay. They didn't spend all that time developing it to just abandon it. Cosplay Pikachu is a one-time gimmick for contests, speaking of which, are gone. Contests and secret bases only existed in Hoenn and Sinnoh, so you'd have to be a retard to think that they're sticking around. Depending on what they want to do with the friend safari, DexNav and sneaking may or may not be gone.

Soaring, I feel like it might stick around. They could make it an in-game event where you encounter a shiny Fletchling. Then later on in the story, you're given the Scorched Flute to soar on Talonflame. And if not this generation, then maybe it was testing for next gen they if they got rid of all HMs and replaced them with key items.

The time mechanic wasn't present in any gen-III game other than RSE, where Eevee isn't obtainable anyway. You need a key item in XD and can't evolve it at all in FRLG.

oh, and horde battles should stay too. They're far more useful for EV training than super training is. I only use super training for quickly checking what EVs a Pokemon has

Horde Battles is the most underutilized feature. We could be having crazy 5 on 1 boss battles and shit. They only tried it twice I think, and the trainer used only shitmons.
