Ok so what about those little buggers? Sure they're original, slightly mysterious and interesting. They also got quite a good Pokemon movie but other than that they're useless. Its safe to say its the most pointless pokemon ever.

Would you want GF to fix it? What to do to make it better?

Give them a better movepool, unique to one another via their forms of alphabets. Give specific stats to each alphabet. Give them unique colors, even unique shiny colors. Give each alphabet a unique ability. Give each one a different cry.

Example: Green Unown Z uses Quiver Dance, Psychic, Sleep Talk, and Rest

I think they're fine as they are. I like that they are mysterious, and to show their actual power would work against that.

Besides, Unown is seen as mostly useless when alone anyway, but I wouldn't be against giving them an HA that doubled the power of Hidden Power for each Unown on the field or something.

It's simple, give it different megas for each letter, each with different stats and abilities (and maybe even different secondary types).

At this point, there isn't much that can be done with the movepool, but there could be some interesting megas. Stuff like Adaptability, Protean, Wonder Guard, Gale Wings, Shadow Tag, Illusion, etc... could really make Unown shine.

should be when you have other pokemon in your party. so if you've got a full team of unown, you're maxing out your power.

Simply retcon.
Make them fairy type pokémon (they're like the fairies of the alphabet anyway) for defence purpose and the ability is protean.
BST is now 500 instead of 336
HP: 100
ATK: 1
DEF: 100
SP. ATK: 100
SP. DEF: 100
SPD: 99

Also they can learn 3 more moves now:
1. signature protect like move
2. signature status move which boosts special attack and speed
3. signature status move like roar

Easy. A mega or an evolution would ruin the awesome concept of the pokémon, a retcon would make it usable, at least ingame.

You do know that uppercase alpha looks just like a regular A right, and all Unown are upper case.

Not to mention that if they did some Greek letters fans would complain about not making forms out of all the Greek letters.

Oh, I didn't realize that. I have zero to little knowledge on the greek alphabet outside of using them for symbols for work (phi, delta, etc.). Yeah that would be a bad idea then.

I drew this a long time ago. The idea in mind is that this Pokémon, Mythilock, seals a door located deep underground and thousands of years old. The door that it guards would contain the answer to some sort of great mystery, like the origin of Pokémon or something.

It would only awaken if all of the Unown have been captured.

Joking, but that reminds me of an idea I once had. It was a shit ton of unown placed together forming a sorta Regigigas body structure, a single unown eye in the center of the construct. I thought of it back in the days of Gold and Silver.

Okay here's what we do. At some point during the game, the player acquires a "Rosetta Sphere" at the bottom of some ancient dungeon; "Temple of Babel" or something. It is said to be able to unlock the hidden power of the Unown. This key item will boost their stats by 5 points for every kind of Unown registered in the Pokédex, distributed as follows:

HP: 48 -> 48
Atk: 72 -> 100 (+28)
Def: 48 -> 76 (+28)
SpA: 72 -> 100 (+28)
SpD: 48 -> 76 (+28)
Spe: 48 -> 76 (+28)

BST: 336 -> 476

Once all of the Unown have been registered, lol sidequest reveals that the Rosetta Sphere is actually a container for a very powerful Mega Stone. The Unownite is then extracted from it and can be used to Mega Evolve any Unown holding it into pic related.

Mega Unown

Ability: True Power
>The Pokémon's attacks always hit as if they are super effective, regardless of the opponent's type

HP: 48 -> 48
Atk: 100 -> 100
Def: 76 -> 101 (+25)
SpA: 100 -> 125 (+25)
SpD: 76 -> 101 (+25)
Spe: 76 -> 101 (+25)

BST: 476 -> 576

Make them do this:

If you have 5 Unowns in one team, the other one pokemon that's not unown's base stats will double.

Example:
Unown x5
Entei

HP 230
ATK 230
DEF 170

SPD 150
SPE 200

Except that it would restrain the games too much. I would rather have them optimizing the overworld and make it not run like shit, and then not add one more fucking model behind me to make it run like shit again. Not to mention it would be an incredible waste of time and resources to model overworld models for all pokémon when they can spend their time on much more important things.
They also try to model the pokémon to more realistic sizes now, so it would look very out of place if they were to model them like that, and shrinking/magnifying the models would be even worse and less believable.

At the very least, let us be able to turn that damn thing off.
