Being much faster, having a useful ability that synergizes pretty well with STAB Volt Switch, Fire coverage (this is big), and being stronger (unless Raikou runs specs which has its own issues) are all points Mega Manec has over it. Mega Manec is generally better than Raikou except it takes up the mega slot and doesn't have calm mind (which is niche on Raikou anyway)

If your team is an offensive volt turn team then maybe manetric does suit you best but i generally prefer raikou since it can at least switch in on the special side of the spectrum.

Aura sphere is garbage coverage, it's a roll to 2hko spdef heatran with specs, and if heatran has protect, there is no chance of a 2hko

Hippowdon outclassees Landorus defensively by far. Heck, even Garchomp is far bulkier than Landorus after they switch the Intimidate away. Landorus is never used for its bulk.

Hippowdon is generally limited to 1 attacking move unless you are running some meta-call set for a specific battle, while defensive lando has the momentum in uturn, and option to have STAB and not be walled by anything with flying or levitate.

Hippo and Defensive lando have different roles to play, saying one outclasses the other is pointless

Steelix is actually very good in SandRoom doubles. And the best Trick Room user is Aromatisse, which Weakness are nullified by every Steel Pokémon.

It's not the best by any means, but Sand Force Boosted STAB Gyro Ball coming from MSteelix hurts a lot. The mistake with MSteelix wasn't its ability, it was the Stats.
Those 30 on Defense was unnecesary, just 10 points more in attack and MSteelix could have an edge, but it wasn't the case, sadly.

It's pretty good in doubles. With those defenses, it can get up trick room with the best of them, and its special attack is nothing to sleep on, considering it can hit almost anything super-effectively.

It's also good in singles, but is kind of a waste of a mega slot when you could just use Clefable, who has less bulk but two really good abilities.

Mega-Audino isn't bad, it just has a terrible ability. If healer healed the user as well as its allies, then it might be worth something.

I think he's less relevant now that Greninja's been given the boot to Ubers and cart players are busy with their shiny new toys; but him and Pinsir are my personal favourite team options out of the XY Megas and he's still got a lot of utility for dealing with common threats.

Manectric is pretty good in OU, and sees a fair bit of usage. Crazy speed tier, great pivot in balance and one of offense's best checks to Talonflame and Mega Metagross.

Mega Garchomp is fairly underrated. In a lot of situations, it's a lot worse than regular Garchomp, but in Sand this thing is a monster with unresisted coverage and the ability to smack just about everything due to running a mixed set.

So many people say its bad but or mediocre, its sad really. It can tank and pull of slow volt switch, work in trick room teams, singles or doubles, be supportive and even run an effective agility set. Mold Breaker and that special attack stat are nothing to look over either.

How is this bait? M-Manectric has only one set and faces huge competition from raikou for the only role it can play. Mega Audino is not terrible per se, but the "one mega evo per team" limitation is the reason it's NU. If anything Mega Manectric is by far the most overrated mega, usage-wise. It's literally the Electivire of Gen 6.

They really should've gave it Hyper Voice(a safer alternative of Hyper Beam) and Focus Blast and call it a day. Those moves alone would make it one of the most solid megas ever and the opportunity cost would be worth it. Right now its basically a Tornadus-T that gets shut down by Rock types as Tornadus is shut down by Electrics types that aren't weak to Fighting.Dark, and Fire.

I prefer it over Camerupt in NU, so there's that. I use Rest/SleepTalk/Calm Mind/Flamethrower. Dazzling Gleam never seems to have enough enough PP, and it can be used to one-shot Ferroseed, which normally causes problems for it.
