Realistic is exactly what trying to make them fit in the human world would be. What are you on about.

Higher quality textures doesn't mean anything to realism. You could have high quality textures and it will still be unrealistic as in "nope that's out of a fucking anime"

Realistic and Pokemon are mutually exclusive.

Reason being? Pokemon aren't fucking real.

The next step would be to make the lighting/shading realistic. Anime shading doesn't happen irl.
