I personally believe it would exaggerated, I know those are still "wasted" 10/20 base stats but I wanted to emulated Mega Sableye defensively, plus its movepool already helps it defensively, so there is already a balance in a way or another.

Those 10/20 base stats could at best go in its Attack with +10Atk or +10Atk/+10Sp.Atk.

If his color pallete was changed to a greyscale one it would look more gargoyle-like and people would probably like it more. I saw a post of this a while back but I can't find it...

Anyway, competitive-wise I would give him an evo that made him much more bulky as that seems to be the way he was designed (it was just poorly done). Possibly also give him an ability that isn't completely terrible as well.

As for the design. The wings are changed into another pair of legs and its tail gets longer. The edges get shaped to look like a Comodo dragons head.
