At least fairy and dragon share the same kind of theme.

Anyway, yeah new types are probably going to be added again, but probably not for a long time, like they did between gen II and VI.

Sound still sounds dumb to me, making sounds is something almost every pokémon can do, I'd rather have sound just be a recurring theme like it is now.

Plus a sound type would really decrease the number of normal type moves and pokémon.

Since it'd be called in holy in Japanese the pokemon don't exactly need to have anything to do with what we see, but more so referencing religious figures. And mostly using the white and yellow for the colors. Although it should be a vague type that could include pokemon like Lanturn that actually create light. Also, just want to make it clear that Light won't necessarily mean good. Pokémon with this type could would be above good and evil.

Retypings to sound:

Exploud line pure sound
Electrode electric/sound
Kricketune bug/sound
Chimecho psychic/sound
Maybe jiggly line to sound/fairy but some should stay normal.
Noivern gets a mega with sound/dragon typing and levitate
Meloetta has its normal typing changed to sound.

Hyper voice , sonicboom, supersonic, echoed voice, sing, boomburst become sound type moves.

I could see chaos/madness type or something to that effect with unown/porygon-z being the poster boys with how edgy pokemon has been lately.

Not "evil" like dark sometimes seems, just chaotic, like tricky/annoying. I could see ambipom being half.

The only Pokémon in Pokémon Brown to be Abnormal were Ditto and the Polygon family. The chart I made above has different weaknesses/resistances than the ones in Brown.

From what I know they're intended to be one collective type for all the nuclear/chaos/cyber fake types people make.

pseudo-type's are things that are overly common in moves but not in pokemon themselves and and also have there own effectiveness on different types and/or special interactions

Light
>heal's grass types.
>boosts speed if target has chlorophyll
>bounced back by reflect
>+50% Damage to dark and ghost.

sound
>all its current effects
>-50% damage when hitting Ice, bug, and grass.

as for other things I'm not sure what would work for them as pseudo-types
but anyone want to try making characteristics for these
