ITT, typings that don't make much sense.

Trapinch is obviously supposed to be an antlion, so why isn't it a bug type? Wouldn't ground/bug make more than pure ground?

Whimsicott didn't care. Still does its job, Poison is a rare offensive type.

You see it on the rare good STAB mons like Gengar and Mega Beedrill, and then as random coverage on things like Conkeldurr or Lando-I.

Poison is only good when it's paired with Water/Ground/Ghost/Dark. It's resisted by a shitton of mons otherwise

Gamefreak really dropped the fucking ball by not making Flygon or Yanmega a Bug/Dragon type. Masquerain should have kept Bug/Water, and Chansey/Blissey should be Fairy (yeah, they'd be broken as shit I guess, but they fit the theme as well as any other pink, cute "blob").
