So how come Brock and Misty barely battled? Misty in the games had a great Starmie. In the anime, it was a weak lil faggot. And Brock. Holy shit. Brock. Treecko and Corphish were used as constant battlers in early Hoenn, and there were a lot of trainer matches between Ash and a random COTD in most episodes. May also does the second most amount of battling in the show after Dawn.
I mean I'm not going to bother going through the whole AG episode list but most episodes were battle oriented.
