Even compared to other first games in other gens, X and Y felt more incomplete than usual, as if deadlines weren't being met. Honestly i wouldnt be surprised if something like that happens in Z/X2Y2. Maybe not so many event legends but some of them? I mean, we already "caught them all" in XY and ORAS: all gen I-VI Pokemon except for the event legandaries. We also got Deoxys which is something that never happened before.

They have to make the next game(s) attractive and i doubt new megas only would do the trick

I would be beyond upset if they blocked transferring. This will be the first generation I finish the Pokedex and I plan on carrying them all on to the next generation. PokeBank is a great thing, minus the annual payments. It would be great if they kept using it through Gen. 7. Otherwise, it'd lose business and people wouldn't pay for it anymore. It'd be just like Box and Ranch.
