Wouldn't Mega Launcher have made more sense flavor-wise, since it powers up Aura and Pulse moves, which are Lucario's specialty?

- Water Pulse

Nah... Adaptability's better for that tasty 150 BP Drain Punch / 80 BP Vacuum Wave or Bullet Punch

The point of mega launcher is to get all boosted attacks up to 120-135 power. This works for water Pokemon because water pulse needs STAB to get that high. If a fighting type had it aura sphere would be way too OP and water pulse wouldn't be worth using

Flavour wise it doesn't match. All mega Launcher user have some kind of cannon (Blastoise and Clawitzer) on them.
