A lot of people who stopped playing pokemon at gen 2 make some comments about how shitty they think all the new pokemon are every time a pokemon related post comes up on nine gag and facebook, and fans who still play get really salty about it and shame fans of gen 1 all the time, especially here on /vp/

I actually had to stop at Gen 2 way back when, family broke up so expensive gifts were non-existent. Got back into gen 3, 4, and 5 two months before ORAS came out, now that i have my own employment and remember how much i love pokemon i came back. I was not disappointed by AS, possibly my second favorite game after Red
