>>23051498It's clear megas are more than just form changes to Gamefreak and Nintendo, they've been the main advertising point of the games in Gen 6 up to now. And in some cases, they do "re-invent" a lot of pokemon and turn them from shitmons to great. And anyways, adding new megas in XY2 won't make ORAS obsolete. If you want to play Hoenn, people will go play those games. It's not like XY, this next game is going to take place in Kalos so there'd be no point in getting XY when you can get the upgraded version.
