The megas are actually weaker than what Soul Dew offers since their stats don't match the special bulk and power the regular Latis have when holding the item. Soul Dew is a combination of Assault Vest and Choice Specs except you wouldn't have deal with those item's drawbacks. Its broken as hell.

Knock Off doesn't mean shit. Megastones eat up valuable megaslots reserved for better megas with high opportunity cost. There would be no reason to use the Lati@sites when Soul Dew makes the Lati twins stronger and bulkier than their megas.

Knock Off has been one of the most prevalent moves in the metagame since it got buffed in Gen VI.

No, the reason Eviolite Chansey isn't used in Ubers is because of Mega Gengar.

Blissey can hold Shed Shell so that Mega Gengar doesn't trap it. Chansey can't, it has to run Eviolite.

The megas only have slight boosts to their stats compared to soul dew which increases their Sp.Att and Sp. Def by 50%, which is coming into the battle with +1 stats, compared to mega evolving to get lesser stats but more speed.

Mega Latios would be useful with a mixed DDance set, but Charizard X exists.

Assuming you run Timid 252SpA 252Spe Latios, Soul Dew is equivalent to increasing its Base Special Attack to 220 (+90) and Special Defense to 175 (+64)
So it's a way bigger boost than a mega evolution, plus it doesn't use up your mega slot.
