Blastoise isn't comparable. Just to start with, it doesn't have nearly as much of an obnoxious fanbase. And for the record, I don't actually like Blastoise, but I have nothing against people who do and if every starter was getting a mega then it made sense. And he still got the worst out of all three gen 1 starters.
Machamp once again doesn't have such an insafferable fanbase. I certainly don't see every perturbed fetishist flock to it (surprisingly enough). And it got an ability that made it better, but still far from the fucking case of giving Charizard two fucking megas for free because all the Zardfags collectively cried so hard Gamefreak was drowning in tears.
So, no, you can't fucking say that about any Pokemon. You're just trying to save face.
