Not even gonna touch Smogon Frog, but M-Mawile has the best typing in the game both offensively and defensively, Sucker Punch for priority, good bulk and 105 attack ON TOP of Huge Power. It's definitely reasonable to ban it.

But why ban it so hard that you have to make it's own tier?

I understand its good. Probably the best pokemon in the game currently. . .but there was no fucking reason to make a new tier because of it. Ubers was supposed to be a tier of pokemon that were too strong for regular play, and I respected that. This is just some BS.

It's not like clicking dragon ascend guarantees a OHKO

And that was totally okay. So is Primal Groudon, a 770 bst mon with only 1 weakness thanks to its ability that nullifies all water attacks while giving it Sun-boosted STABs in permanent weather that can only be removed by 5 fully evolved Pokemon, the most viable two of which have to switch in or be slower to stop it.

Now imagine how fucking insane M-Ray has to be to be banned.

Mega Ray is absurdly broken. Base 180 offenses, base 115 speed, and it doesn't have to hold a Mega Stone to Mega Evolve, leaving its item slot open.

Because there's no reason to not use MegaRay. It's that good.

With every pokemon that exists, there are downsides to using. Even Primal-Groudon, with it's 65+% usage, does have downsides (even though they are seldom at best) to using it.

With so many Pokemon being banned because Power Creep is real and it's happening, there is a point where you ponder, "how much is too much?"
