I need some confirmation, Mega-Sableye, is the gemstone it is holding the red stone on Sableye's chest, or does it spawn a new one with its magic mega stone bend powers?

It is not entirely clear in its Mega Evolve animation because you can see it is still on its chest but as soon as the gemstone is in front of it you can no longer see it because of its arm and gem of course.

You can see that it has the ability to spawn/grow new gems due to its back having more gems then before it evolves. So what do you think? New one or chest?
