Reconsider being a Pokémon Trainer, /vp/. If the unthinkable happens and you get sucked into a parallel world where Pokémon are real, you'll be a rookie; bottom-of-the-barrel. You'll get laughed at, outright ignored, and passed over for tournament spots because you're rocking a shitty Rattata.

"I'll catch all the strongest Pokémon and be a world-renowned trainer!" you say. Unlikely. Your in-game skillz0rz won't translate into having the same rapport with the real thing. Sure you might know their names and have their moves memorized, but murdering a bunch of Zubat to boost their speed EV probably wouldn't work as they wouldn't have EVs. Their personality would probably not affect their stats either.

TMs and HMs? Probably don't exist. Nor do egg moves. You'll have to make due with what they would learn naturally through level-up (leveling-up is also probably not a thing). On the plus side you'll have more than four moves to work with, though I imagine most of you couldn't use them all effectively.

Would you still accept the challenge, /vp/? Is it worth interacting with a bunch of dangerous monsters that could murder you with zero effort for the (unlikely) potential of fame and fortune?
