Since classes started again, I emulated Pokemon yellow on my phone to play between classes and shit.

I had totally forgot there was a fucking item amount limit for your bag.

I wish Omega Ruby was emulatable

I'm playing Crystal and the item limit is annoying but it's w/e. Gen 1 and gen 2 are cozy. I like the really old graphics style. Are you gonna use any of the starters?

Gotta agree, most johto pokemon are found in kanto.

Though a hack called Crystal Kaizo fixes that, you get lots of diversity early on.
Be careful though, it won't let you use revives, and vitamins don't seem to work.

I think he means more varied availability in the first half of the game, not to mention novel pokemon locations (like ditto in cinnabar mansion) and being able to get all three starters without trading. Obviously it doesnt have more pokemon in it, but it certainly gives off the illusion of doing so.
