This thread is making me realize that I don't have any strong feelings about any Electric-type Pokemon. I don't really care for them, but I don't dislike them either. Hell, I can't even muster much more than apathy for Jolteon, and I fucking hate the Eevee family.

Don't get me wrong, I like Ampharos, it was one of my main niggas in SS, but it still baffles me that we have a cute as fuck sheep like Mareep that evolves into an ugly-cute pink sheep that lost half of its wool, then into a giraffe/kangaroo hybrid.

Thanks for the reason, didn't know that.
As for think Flaaffy is ugly or not, I'll just say that beauty lies in the eye of the beholder. I don't really consider it ugly, it's just that the "naked" lower part of the body and the pink color that don't resonate with me.

Fair enough, I think Mareep would probably look better to me if it's color scheme was changed around a bit. I can't really explain it but Mareep's color combo reminds me of asphalt and traffic cones or something. It seems less ugly in fanart though.
