Changing a character mid season is one of the most destructive thing you can do in a show. Either introduce a character with short hair from the start or don't ever change the long hair. It's almost as bad as removing characters from the show.

Iris was supposed to be a dragon trainer, but only had two dragons; one that never did anything, and one that wouldn't listen to her. But despite being shit at what she did, she still criticized everyone else and acted like a smug little cunt.

This is acceptable because it's based on a game with customization in mind and she's still very easy to recognize.

She had a Staryu, a Starmie, and a Goldeen who were pretty compitent, until Starmie started to job to things like Pidgeotto and a fucking Graveler. Goldeen was useless on land.

Then she got a Psyduck and a Horsea. Psyduck was top tier with being a comedy mon AND being able to turn on his psychic skills after enough hits to the face. Horsea never saw a battle.

Then she got a Poliwag, who was decent. Evolved into Poliwhirl and then Politoad. Was still decent. She got a Corsola, which was OK. And then she had that fucking Togepi. Who, despite being happy as all living fuck, never evolved until gen 3's anime.

Compared to the other traveling girls, Misty's Pokemon never once disobeyed her, unlike Dawn's Mamoswine/Buizel, and Iris' Excadrill and Dragonite.

The only thing Misty had against her was she was a massive cunt.

Serena would sadly be the first to fall out of the rumble, since she only has two Pokemon.

I think Iris would be next, cause May has a ton of Pokemon that know Ice Beam.

Misty'd be screwed, since May also has a Venusaur, and her best pokemon, Gyarados, is a gentle giant.

It'd come down to Dawn and May, I'm giving it to May, since she has slightly more Pokemon, and a top tier Mamoswine.

Then Jesse comes in with Wobbufet and fucks everyone's shit up.

Well, Misty doesn't have major things to really measure her ability with. All of her ability is only given via whatever she does in the regular episodes, and that might as well not count since she is at least as skilled as anyone else there. The one time she got to show her skill, she did prove to be fairly decent, but nowhere near tops. To be expected, I guess. At least I would give more credit to her than Iris. However, keep in mind that I find this to be an unfair category, since none of the others battle at all! Just those two, and Iris deserves nothing of what she got. You could be a beginning trainer and be better than the other females.
