When will we see the end of the Pokémon Franchise?

I'm not a nostalgiafag but frankly the pokemon concepts/designs have gone steadily downhill since Gen 2, and the games just gets shorter and easier every year.

It did already happen, if you haven't noticed yet that shit gen and game that was BW was pretty much a coup de grace for Pokemon. Any other side and main game were just ending titles showing beta and fanmade Pokemon and stories.

It's a shame because they could have finished Pokemon back in Gen4 preserving only good memories and titles.

The hype and the misleading ads sure helped them, as well as the not final footages that had more content than the final ones, also remember the gen1 pandering and the nitpicked pokemon models in their public info.

They'll keep going until they don't make as much money anymore. You got to understand that they make money not only from the games, but merchandise, anime, etc. They'll last a long time, especially if they are lasting this long and still going strong.

It kind of depends on how long Nintendo lasts honestly. I know they aren't completely owned by Nintendo, but they would have trouble without them.

The NFC Pokemon Rumble figures are all I hope we get of those things. Pokemon Amiibos would making a killing but use up way too much plastic and space imo. I'd buy some too though.
