I've been using Genesect and Mega Manectric as a hyper offense VoltTurn core with intimidate, and then Conkeldurr with Guts and AV to absorb status effects and get an attack boost.

If you so much as ruin their stategy, they don't even forfeit and just disconnect, resulting in a loss for you as well if participating in a rating battle/online competition. Where is their courage? Can they not stand the humility of losing one battle?

This and the fact that Japanese players like using gimmicks is why Shadow Tag+Encore works so amazingly in doubles WiFi
Less effective in actual VGC, since none of your opponents are Japs.
