Looking back I really enjoy Looker as a character.

Would you want to see him in the future? Should there be a Pokémon Detective game?

These questions don't really need answers but I'm curious.

I really like Looker. But felt like his role was over after the Looker quest in XY.

His role in ORAS was useless, but I kind of wish him one more appearance just so the amnesia shit could be cleared.

In Japan he's called Handsome, Looker is the English name. I guess it works two-fold.

I'd say he's more half-boiled.

But a hard-boiled Looker would be an interesting turn of events if he came back from the "amnesia" he had in ORAS with a harder personality.

He doesn't have a Pokemon to his name, even Riley and his crew had at least one decent Pokemon each.

- On a mission by the International Police and given an unfriendly Herdier as a partner.
- Use puzzle solving and pokemon moves to find clues [Layton style puzzles].
- The occasional Pokemon battles are similar the Pokestar Studio battles where a certain objective must be achieved instead of victory.
- Towards the end of the game the Herdier evolves into Stoutland as its bond with Looker improves.

That is because Looker has character to begin with.

People be talking about their Pokewaifus and shit but they ain't much of anything. Some of the most shit tier waifus and husbandos in existence, they're barely cardboard cutouts.

Pokemon on the whole is completely devoid of character. Why do you think Looker and Blue are popular? Because they had enough personality to stick with you.

Even BW, the story focused games, had dry as toast characters who actually paled in comparison to some characters found in the preceding and subsequent generations.
