So I looked at different forums discussing various set ups for Zen mode but with no overall agreement.

ITT: We spit ball some set ups for Zen mode.

I've thought Adamant Zan mode w/belly drum to par it with Sheer force's regular Atk and give it Flare Blitz and Zen Headbutt for STAB

well a a sheer force darmanitan atk is in the 400s and Zen Mode just breaks 100 atk. Use belly drum to have it equal out so Zen mode has good atk. solis defence stats. 2 good Stab move and through in a special move to deal woth walls

There's really no way to safely use Zen Mode sadly. Needing half HP to activate, slow speed, adding Psychic type making it now weak to Knock Off.
Darmanitan is my favorite guy and I've looked into it, but it's not worth it at all.

So, the way I run it is Flame Charge, for regular Darmanitan. You charge and charge and charge, and then once you go Zen, you've got Flamethrower, Psychic and Grass Knot to try and take things out.
It's not great, but hey, it's worked.

i've used a sub+speed boosting berry (don't remember the name and probably should have used the sp.atk increasing berry instead) with fire blast and psychic, actually got a sweep with it once.

It isn't anything worthwhile though, it's a terrible gimmick mon, interesting, but no competitive value at all, unfortunately.
