Assuming Zygarde doesn't appear in Movie 18, Volcanion and Zygarde will probably star together in Movie 19 next year. We already know that Zygarde's sort of an eco-warrior, and Volcanion embodies power plants.

Any sort of power plant goes really. They all do the same thing: generate heat to produce steam to drive turbines.

The event in ORAS shows that there are apparently other Volcanion wandering around the islands of Johto and forests of Sinnoh. Still nothing connecting it to a power plant aside from appearances.

Just search "ORAS Volcanion event" on YouTube and you'll see several uploads of it.

It's nothing big, just a bunch of text. But apparently Brandon from the Battle Pyramid went on some expeditions to find Volcanion and made a TV show about it.

zygarde will be a mega with moves, like rayquaza needing dragon ascent to mega evolve it'll need thousand arrows for one mega or thousand waves for the other. it has 600 bst so it's pretty obvious that it's getting +100, which is what megas get coincidentally.

I don't think so, but I won't rule out the possibility.

Diancie and Hoopa were kinda shitty until they got their powered up forms. Volcanion is really good already. Also Diancie and Hoopa's designs looked so simple and seemed they'd be expanded on with a new form. And while I know many don't like Volcanion's design, he doesn't look "incomplete" in ways that Diancie and Hoopa did.

But if anything, I'd bet a mega. It's the main Gen VI gimmick, and Primals only seem to apply to the lore of the ancient battle of Groudon and Kyogre.

Nah. I don't mind the design, but it's definitely too noisy to have much added on with a form change or mega evolution at this point.

I just want Zygarde given its due. All this talk about it being a protector of the ecosystem and still ZIP outta GF after having nothing but eco-clusterfucks front and center for the last couple games.

Just you wait. The most annoying thing about X and Y is how blatantly the story is holding out for a third version. The original games in previous gens at least had stories which made sense as standalone games. And it's a huge step down from black/white. Zygarde will get its new form.
