That's a good idea in theory, but in practice it's an invisible stat that drives people crazy.

because they're easy and intuitive to control compared to IVs. And EVs are resettable. AND they all have fair distribution of +10/-10% and 512 for every Pokemon. Meanwhile with IVs I can catch one Pokemon that's 0/0/0/0/0/0 while someone else can get one that's 31/31/31/31/31 for no reason except bullshit rng. I don't care about how easy it is. I care about how tedious and time consuming it is. 6 IVs for one Pokemon still takes me hours. ESPECIALLY if I want a hidden ability. And this is being generous and assuming one of the parents is hacked to have the IVs you want already. God forbid you don't have that.

IVs separate 1 pikachu from another. Everything can literally be one of 3 genders, You'll ALWAYS have a Pikachu that is either male or female. Levels, EVs, and Moves all change based off of training, and are completely irrelevant to separating one pokemon from another.

Abilities can vary, so, that is a valid way of differentiating. Same with natures.

But the rest? That's just being an idiot.

Making base wild Pokemon different barely fucking matters and it's just minor flavor bullshit. Levels and natures will already make their stats look different. EVs will make them different even further. Assuming a Pokemon has 2 genders and 2 abilities there are 100 different same species Pokemon you can find. I'll take that over having bullshit numbers that handicap my Pokemon for no reason.

There is also the risk reward of the Hidden Power system. I remember people who ran hp Fire Greninja, while being able to catch Ferro off guard, would lose some speed battles it normally can win.

There should at the very least be a way to alter iv's ingame apart from breeding. Like some "Potential Trainer" in the battle facility that charges you BP to increase an IV by a couple points.

IV's add nothing to the game and removing them isn't "casualization" it's making stuff less tedious. But since GF will probably never ditch them, the above is more likely

Also define a "trick roomer". Some Pokemon can function both as a trick room sweeper as well as a faster Pokemon/Scarfed

What about Pokemon with mixed stats? Also Someone may want to use a physical variant of a Pokemon even though its attack stat is higher.
