Since I was little I've always played Pokemon by only using my starter and barreling through everything I come across. I never even thought about doing it differently.

Now I'm trying to play it normally and build teams and so on, but it just seems so redundant when I know I'm wasting time grinding when I could be smashing everything with a solo pokemon.

Am I missing something?
