Black and red is another prime edge combination. Particularly when combined with, and I thank you for illustrating with that picture, a dragon. Dragons are edgebait. It's really fucking easy to make one edgy. While Pokemon generally does a good job of keeping them within reason, Zard X trips that line.

I don't have any particular objection to a specialization in either physical or special attacking for Charizard. However, having two Megas is pandering bullshit, and having one of those Megas be a "LOOK HOW KOOL THIS SHIT IS" black-blue edgedragon is fucking awful. One or the other. I wouldn't care which STYLE of battle a theoretical single Mega-Zard had. Just as long as it was designed more in line with Y.

Not everything red/black or blue/black is necessarily edgy, it depends on what you apply the colors on.
Charizard X has the exact same color scheme of shiny Charizard, but blue instead of red.
Charizard X is also more similar to normal Charizard.

Speed tier wasn't much of a problem. You could switch into something that couldn't do shit to Haxorus, set up a DDance, and then go to town on whatever they switched out for. Now there are Fairies capable of killing it, regardless, and now most Pokemon have access to a Fairy or Ice type attack, which really, really hurts Haxorus.

Choice Scarf set was also pretty fucking good. Haxorus rose to OU for a reason.

Knock Off/Dark/Ghost buffs had nothing to do with it they all hit Metagross as hard and it is still ticking.

Bronzong's problem is its completely anemic offensive stats and moves. It's meant to be support and has barely any useful support moves besides screens, SR and TR. Fucker can't even T-Wave or do anything unique, its only use before was literally SR. Offensively all it gets is EQ, Ice Beam and Iron Head off sub 80 base offenses.

When will you fucking faggots learn that Hydreigons' 4x Fairy weakness isn't even a big deal? The introduction of Fairies affected Hydreigon as much as all the other dragons(meaning little if at all). Hydreigon was screwed over from gen 5 to 6 because lack of priority, its slow as hell and being a wallbreaker is a mediocre niche. Just like Heatran the 4x weakness has little impact on its viability. Being weak to fighting is worse than being 4x weak to Fairy.
