>How is it bigger than a fucking 20 year old franchise that has been selling multimillions since its inception and has had an anime running weekly almost as long?Well it's definitely not more LUCRATIVE, but I don't even know who has a bigger fandom, they're both pretty big. 1/4th of all pics on danbooru alone are Touhou related, out of a million+ pics, there are probably well over a million remixes of Touhou's famous music as well.
It's also a legitimately fun, if hard game in my opinion. It's kind of strange to compare it to Pokemon since Pokemon is so easy.
