Has anyone tried an online version of pokemon, preferably ones fro android

i dont have a ds, and ive emulated pokemon before on an android, but there are browser games ive heard where you can catch grind level and battle pokemon/gyms/other people and was wondering if anyone knows what im talking about it and tried it before

i remember playing a very basic version online back in 2005ish , you would click somewhere on the grass and it would walk you there, you could fight and catch pokemon, there were some towns to explore and high scores for the most battle wins/strongest pokemon
