6th gen had mostly great designs. As did gen 3 imo. Gen 5 just wasn't that good in terms of designs though. And no I don't hate gen 5, I think BW2 are the best games

It's base stats could be better, but aside from it's status moves and attacks, it can learn some pretty fun moves. Assist uses a random move from your team, and breed to learn copycat to use the last move used. Can also be bred to learn foul play.
