There were people who got upset cause "muh favorite mon got banned" and He, along with a select few people at the time, were very critical of smogon. He was also vocal. With every ban came an "opinion" video on why this was wrong and how Smogon needs to understand what's happening. They got a lot of dislikes, yes, but they also got Attention. Good or Bad, press is still press, and it gets you noticed.
