BW2 were so good,

Them Pokegirls man, holy shit.....Gen V in general has by far the best Pokegirls of any region, by a hell of a long margin. It's even close.

And they were just the icing on the cake that was made of of the best story and best postgame in the series. Gen V was so good.

Yeah, my biggest disappointment with ORAS was the feel of laziness in the game. Sure, the nostalgia was good, but no Battle Frontier and the copypasted Maison, and the lack of postgame kinda ruined it for me.

Mine as well. There was a post game in ORAS but it wasn't there for the kind of player that caught them all (a la Black 2/White 2's postgame full of legendaries) or if you already did the Battle Maison in X&Y.
The fact there was no Battle Frontier and that there are loads of hints suggesting the Battle Resort is "a sign of things to come" (the battle frontier being in a future game) left an even worse taste in my mouth.

There's also the fact that it has an actual storyline, but since you're a pokemon fan is understandable you overlooked that.

Seasons were a neat idea but they lasted for way too fucking long, a week in each season would be more fitting.

gen5 is the shittiest gen by far, I play since the beginning of pokemon and im not a genwunner or something, I like every gen, but gen5 is the worst of them.
*worst pokemon designs (some are good,yes)
*worst soundtrack (srsly techno shit gtfo)
*worst region (boring as hell and bad story)
*worst starters (i hate all 3 of them)
*worst legendaries (ugly transformers shit)
* 2nd best girls (ok the girls are actually great)

Yeah, I think that Gen V was probably the last good Pokemon Gen. There's something about that sprite look that can never be replicated by 3D models. I try picking up AS or Y now and then but it just don't have the drive to keep playing them. I think the magic is gone in a lot of ways.

Maybe it's finally time to part ways with Pokemon.

The transition from sprites to 3D shouldn't be a big enough deal for you to abandon a franchise, anon. You should've seen this coming anyway, Game Freak would've been crucified if they continued to use sprites and not models on the 3DS.

The magic was gone when they moved the games to the GBA. It just didn't feel right being dumped into new regions every few years with little to no connections to the old ones without crappy remakes.

They were sort of trying to do storylines again with ORAS and the fact that they are taking their time with XY2/Gen 7 makes me hope we have a B/W tier plot again

It doesn't. You have to transfer the other forms from Unova, and it'll keep it permanently in XY/ORAS.
