Without going all little red riding hood she's got big eyes, big lips, prominent hands; imo they tried to create a pokemon that has donned human characteristics but in an exaggerated and shallow fashion (Dex entries stating that its speech sounds human, albeit completely intelligible). I never really saw her as a black person. Her face was a void; a canvas for the exaggerated human features. To me she is a caricature, but of human beings in general; the fact that after outrage they changed her skin colour and suddenly she was ok, because there aren't any purple humans I found pretty amusing. Jynx is my favourite because she's absolutely ridiculous and a daily reminder that perception is everything.
