For example, yes, some people wanted Battle Frontier in ORAS. Do we need to whine about it until the next game comes out? If you don't like something, move on from it. Telling us about it isn't going to do a thing to change it.

I have enjoyed every Pokemon game so far, but clearly I'm "so damn stupid" for not picking apart aspects of a video game to bitch about incessantly.

There's a big difference between voicing your opinion and being consistently negative. Nitpicking or focusing only on negative aspects of something is not healthy for discussion. It creates an environment where you're ostracized for actually liking anything.

/vp/ has come to treat Pokemon like /v/ treats video games. It's really a shame.

Not really as simple as that. You have to factor in items, abilities, Pokemon types, move types, EVs, stat boosts, etc.

I hate genwunner scum because it helps me appreciate how much Pokemon has grown and what the experience is. At the same time I participate in threads that nitpick shortcomings of current games because some points are very salient (unoptimized models + code, metagame clusterfucks, postgame material, etc.)
