Otherwise, though, I think all baby pokes should be retconned as the base form regardless. I have not fully resolved my stance on Mega forms, although the matter that they require an item to achieve a form that didn't exist before really irks me because they've used that excuse too many times. It works for branching evos, but normal evos? I know officially, they're not a normal evo, but screw that, they might as well be.
