XY were a great introduction to Gen VI, but as a game I preferred ORAS' maingame much more.

Nintendo knows that many people buy their handhelds for Pokemon. It's unlikely (unless the New3DS sells like iProducts) but it wouldn't be suprising if they took that route.

The XL having a worse build quality than the regular version.
It's literally a lucky dip on whether or not you'll get a good one.
Plus it doesn't exactly upscale the images to the size of the screen and the 3D effect is pretty dull because of it.

The only thing the XL really did was increase the screen size and battery life the rest is either the same or worse.

Some people like the smaller screens, perfer the portability of the smaller size, don't have gorilla hands, ect.

You realize specific mechanics and pokemon traits will ONLY be available on the New3DS due to 'increased' capability meaning the watered down version will go to poorfags who can't afford a new 3DS and the goodies will go to us who can.

I would highly suggest buying a Japanese 3DSLL (XL in US) and a US New3DSXL

First, I don't believe the NX is going to be mobile shit I refuse to believe Nintendo would betray us all like that, but if they did, that would be the okay for GF to not even give the smallest shit when it comes to quality. They could release Pokémon Shuffle 2, 3, 4, and other mobile-tier microtransaction garbage, and nothing else, and make more money than they would actually caring about the game.

If they were becoming mobile, expect XY to be better than anything they make from this point on.

I haven't played ORAS in about 3 months and XY in probably more than a year. There's nothing in these games to 'enjoy' for so long.
