My friend and I were talking about possible future games, shit like Z or XX XY or whatever. But then he said "why can't they just release a dlc for XY adding in new pokemon and region and shit". That made me think how the 3DS patches and adds DLC to the SD card, not the actual game cart. Is that why they didn't update XY for ORAS megas? If you change systems or lose your memory card, the mega stones/new Pokémon would disappear, right?
